I have to start this out by saying how gorgeous Cassi and Blake’s outdoor wedding was. The weather was literally perfect, sunny and in the 70’s. You really can’t ask for better weather, especially in August in Southern Indiana! 

The day began with lots of laughs and mimosas as Cassi and her bridesmaids got ready at The Loft on Main in New Harmony, Indiana. Cassi looked absolutely stunning in her gown. Her bridesmaids were in complete awe when they saw her for the first time and I couldn’t wait to see Blake’s reaction!

These two met at Indiana State University’s Homecoming in 2015. Two of their mutual friends got married the following summer and they ended up walking together in the wedding. Talk about foreshadowing, right? When Seth decided to propose to Jordan, he tricked her by telling her that he “wanted to see what being inside a cloud was like” and took her to Lookout Mountain in Tennessee to do just that (or so she thought). They two ended up at Sunset Rock and Seth got down on one knee. Obviously, we know what Jordan’s answer was! She also mentioned that the inside of a cloud is cold and wet! Too funny.

Today I have another Southern Indiana love story to share with you all! But this one has a bit of a twist! Sarah and Emmanuel met at the University of Southern Indiana. Sarah was on the cheer team and Emmanuel was on the basketball team. Sounds pretty normal so far, right? Well, the really cool thing about this couple is that Emmanuel is actually from Nigeria! They actually got married in December 2018 and waited until July 2019 to have their official ceremony. This is different than most of my couples that I shoot. In a way, I think it actually takes some of the pressure off and allows everyone to relax and have a good time
